Our Approach

Our surroundings have a profound effect on the way we feel. They can lift us up or bring us down, they can inspire, soothe, renew, and restore. The spaces we're in have the power to transform, and that's why we take time to intimately understand the people we're designing for, and their unique wants and needs. Our aim is for the spaces we create to reflect the stories our clients want to tell and evoke the experiences they want to have. We take a vision and elevate it, giving it a life of its own. So while each project is one of a kind, our commitment to working with the finest artisans, and sourcing materials that will outlast trends and age gracefully, never wavers. We believe in investing in quality. And, we’re not afraid to play with color, to mix vintage with modern, or marry patterned with plain. Spaces speak and we listen.

We also help oversee all aspects of the design and renovation process, including construction. We design spaces to bring out the best in people, and we don’t ever impose a singular vision. We partner with our clients to create wonderfully liveable, workable, playable spaces that are uniquely their own—spaces that will evolve and grow alongside the people within them. 

Our Founder

Before artists and celebrities were flocking to her for help designing their dwellings, Caitlin spent years in Hollywood, mastering the art of producing. So, it’s no surprise that similar to watching a great movie, her spaces inspire ease, well-being, and at times, exhilaration. They take you on a cinematic journey that makes you feel all the right things. A client’s childhood collectable finds a place here, a colored textile fits perfectly over there...everything exquisitely and artistically combined to form a beautifully layered, modern yet timeless style.

A Brooklyn native and graduate of Barnard College and Columbia University, she very happily lives in Los Angeles’ Silverlake, where she avoids the “which coast is the best coast” debate as much as possible. Caitlin likes them both just fine.
